THIS LOFT is a dynamic living space for a young family in New York's bustling SoHo district. It was designed to combine comfort and elegance into a single home suited to both entertainment and relaxation. To resolve this duality SDS took inspiration from Art Deco and American Mid-Century Modern Design to create an interior that is at once inviting and sophisticated. 

Natural materials and graphic elements work in concert to create a series of visually exciting vistas throughout the apartment while maintaining a sense of human comfort. Subtle details and changes in the material palette organize the public and private spaces in a way that is easily understood by guests and creates a sense of refuge for the residents.
